Profile and Settings
See your balance and your details in Profile, add a photo, and use Settings for theme, language, emails, your password and signing out on all devices.
Profile shows what CLVR holds about you. Settings is where you change things about your own account. Both open inside the account panel.
The view opens over the panel. Use the back arrow at the top, or your browser's Back button, to return. Each view has its own address, so you can bookmark it or reload the page and land on it.
Profile
| Part | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Top | Your photo, your name and your role. HR users also see an HR badge. |
| Balance | Left to spend this benefit period, what you've spent, what's pending, and the days until it resets. It's the same figure as on your dashboard. |
| Employment | Employee number, Role, Employment rate, Manager and Started. |
| Personal | Email, Address and, if your company records it, your Personnummer with the last four digits hidden. |
Benefit period: the stretch of time your allowance covers, usually a calendar year.
You can't edit these details. They come from HR and payroll. If something is wrong, ask HR to change it. It shows the next time you open Profile.
Add or change your photo
CLVR makes the image smaller before it uploads, so a large photo is fine. Your photo then shows in Profile, at the top of the panel and on your picture in the top bar.
To go back to your initial, select Remove photo under your name.
Settings
Everything in Settings is about your own account. HR users get two tabs, Employee and HR. Everyone else sees no tabs, just the settings.
The Employee tab has these groups, from the top:
| Group | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Theme and Language | Light or dark, and Swedish or English. |
| Preferences | Widen the panel for the Assistant. Only on a computer, and only if your company has the Assistant. |
| Phone | Install CLVR Benefits on your phone. Gone once CLVR is installed. |
| Email notifications | Choose which emails you get. |
| Security | How you sign in, and your password if you use one. |
| Recent sign-ins | Your latest sign-ins. |
Sign out on all devices is at the bottom.
Theme and language
Both apply as soon as you pick. There's nothing to save. Your choice follows you to a new device. See Your account panel for both in full.
Widen the panel for the Assistant
This switch is on at first. On a computer, the panel gets wider while the Assistant tab is open. It narrows again when you leave the tab.
If you drag the panel's left edge, you set your own width and the switch turns off. Turn it back on to let the panel size itself again. The width is saved in this browser only.
Install CLVR on your phone
Select Install CLVR Benefits on your phone for the steps. See Install CLVR Benefits on your phone.
Email notifications
Select Choose which emails you get. The Email notifications view opens. Under About you, each switch turns a group of emails on or off:
| Switch | Emails it covers |
|---|---|
| Expense updates | An expense is approved, declined, moved to another category or sent back for changes. |
| Review requests | You're added as an approver, and reminders while a review waits for you. |
| Elections | A vacation-day or yearly pension choice opens or is about to close, and your receipt when you save one. |
| Allowance reminders | A reminder before your unused allowance runs out. |
A switch saves as soon as you move it. Turning one off stops only the emails. Your notifications in the panel still come.
Some emails always come: receipts for purchases, password emails and your welcome email.
Security
The Security card says how you sign in: Microsoft, Google, Password or Email link. If your company also uses BankID, it adds that, for example "You sign in with Email link or BankID." It also shows when you last signed in.
If your company signs in with a password only, you see two more buttons:
- Change password opens a form. Enter your new password twice. It needs at least 8 characters, with a letter and a number. It can't match your personnummer.
- Send me a reset link emails you a link. It works for one hour. It's the same link Forgot password? sends on the sign-in page.
If you sign in with Microsoft, Google or an email link, you have no password, so the buttons don't show.
Recent sign-ins
Your five latest sign-ins, with the date, time and method. The method is Password, Email link, One-time code, BankID, Microsoft or Google.
If you see a sign-in you don't recognise, sign out on all devices. If you use a password, change it too.
Sign out on all devices
You land on the sign-in page, which says Signed out on all devices. Your other devices and browsers are signed out the next time they load a page. Sign in again as usual.
The HR tab
HR users find two groups here:
- Start page: the page the HR button in the top bar opens first. Choose Dashboard, Expenses, Employees or Reports. If your company has partner benefits, Partner benefits is there too.
- Company settings: links to Benefit settings, Allowance settings, Approval settings, Payroll settings, Retention settings and AI settings.
HR users also see more in Email notifications. How HR emails reach you sets a daily digest or one email per item. See Choose how HR emails reach you. Under As HR, Yearly pension choice summaries is the summary you get when an employee saves their yearly pension choice.
Troubleshooting
- Profile or Settings didn't open. Open the account panel first. The two rows are on its Account tab. If the view still doesn't open, reload the page.
- My photo didn't save. Pick a JPEG, PNG or WebP under 10 MB. A file that isn't really an image is refused, whatever its name says.
- I turned an email off and still got one. Only the four groups above can be turned off. Receipts, password emails and the welcome email always come. An email already sent when you moved the switch isn't recalled.
- I don't see Change password. Your company signs in with Microsoft, Google or an email link. There's no password on your account to change.
- Another device is still signed in after Sign out on all devices. It's signed out the next time it loads a page. Reload it.
