Updating your personal details (name, email, address)
Your personal details are managed by your company, so here is what to do when a name, email, or address looks wrong.
Your personal details in CLVR Benefits, your name, work email, and address (street, postal code, and city), along with your employee number, are managed by your company rather than edited by you in the webapp. There is no form for you to change them yourself today. This article explains where to see what is on file, what to do when something looks wrong, and why a couple of these details matter.
Where to see your details
The Profile page in the Me area is still being built, so it shows an Under development. Coming soon! state instead of editable fields for now. In the meantime:
- Your name and email. Select your avatar in the top corner of the webapp to open the profile menu. Your name and email show at the top.
- Your compensation. Use the Total compensation page in the Me area for a breakdown of your pay and benefits.
What to do when a detail is wrong
You do not edit these fields yourself, so the fix is always the same: ask your HR team to update the detail for you. That applies to your:
- Name
- Work email
- Street address, postal code, and city
- Employee number
Once your HR team saves the change in CLVR, the corrected detail flows through everywhere it is used.
Why your email matters
Your work email is more than a contact field: it is your identity in CLVR. The same address signs you in and receives your notifications and your Welcome to CLVR Benefits email. There is no separate username, so your sign-in email and your profile email are one and the same. If your email ever changes, let your HR team know so they can update it, and then sign in with the new address.
Because your email is your sign-in identity, a wrong or outdated address is a common reason sign-in fails. If you cannot sign in, check you are using the exact work email your employer registered, then ask your HR team to confirm the address on file.
Why your address details matter (Sweden)
If your company has the mock payslip turned on, your name, address, and employee number appear on the simulated payslip PDF you can generate from your dashboard. Keeping these correct means the preview reads the way a real payslip would. The estimate itself is driven by your salary and tax table, not your address, so an out-of-date address will not change the numbers, only the details printed at the top.
Troubleshooting
- The Profile page only says "Coming soon". That is expected for now. To confirm your name and email today, open the profile menu from your avatar.
- A detail looks wrong and I cannot find where to edit it. There is no self-edit for personal details yet. Ask your HR team to correct it.
- My name or address is wrong on my mock payslip. Those come from the details your company has on file. Ask your HR team to update them, then generate the payslip again.
- I cannot sign in after my email changed. Use the new address your HR team saved. If it still does not work, ask them to confirm the new email is correct in CLVR.
