Your access when you are scheduled to leave

Your Dashboard & Allowance 3 min readUpdated 5 days ago

What the dashboard greeting shows once your HR team records a future last day, including your access deadline and what is left to use.

When your HR team records a future last day for you, the greeting at the top of your dashboard changes to show how long you can still use CLVR Benefits. You keep normal access right up to that date, and the greeting reminds you of the deadline every time you sign in so nothing is left unused.

The access notice

Once a future last day is set, the greeting adds a red notice: You have access to CLVR Benefits until {date}. That date is your access deadline. Until then, you can sign in, view your dashboard, and upload expenses as usual. Your termination date is set by your HR team, not something you change yourself.

What the greeting shows alongside it

The rest of the greeting depends on whether you still have benefit allowance left to spend:

  • You still have allowance left. The heading reads Hi {firstName}! You have {amount} left. so you can see exactly how much there is to use before your deadline.
  • You have used it all. The heading reads Good job, {firstName}! above the same access notice, confirming there is nothing left to spend.

If your allowance was pro-rated

If your allowance was adjusted for a partial year, the greeting adds Your allowance has been pro-rated. right after the access notice. Pro-rating means your yearly allowance is scaled to the part of the year you are with the company, and it is your HR team that decides whether it applies. For how the figure is worked out, see how your allowance is pro-rated when you leave mid-year.

Note.

If you have already spent more than your allowance, the greeting shows the access notice followed by a line saying HR will be in touch to help you settle your benefit allowance, instead of a remaining amount. See why your greeting says HR will be in touch for what that means.

Before your last day

  • Use what is left. Any remaining allowance shown in the greeting is yours to spend on eligible expenses up to your access deadline.
  • Upload expenses as normal. Uploading and tracking expense reports works the same way until your access ends.
  • Watch the deadline. The date in the red notice is the last day you can sign in and use CLVR Benefits.

Troubleshooting

  • The date in the notice looks wrong. Your access deadline comes from the last day recorded for you. Ask your HR team to check it.
  • I did not expect a pro-rated notice. Whether pro-rating applies is a setting your HR team controls. Reach out to them if it is unexpected.
  • I still have allowance but my last day is close. Use it before the date in the notice, since access ends on that day.
