What partner benefits are and how to find them
What the Partner benefits area is, how it differs from regular store benefits, where it lives in the HR menu, how to browse the grid, and how to read a partner's detail page.
Partner benefits are benefits from external providers that need a signed agreement with your company before employees can see them in the benefit store. The Partner benefits area, reached from your HR menu, is where your HR team browses these partners, tells CLVR you are interested, and (once an agreement is in place) brings the benefit live. The page describes itself the same way at the top: "Browse partners that need a company agreement before they appear in your benefit store." This article covers what the area is, how to find it, how to browse the grid, and how to read a partner's detail page.
How partner benefits differ from regular store benefits
A regular benefit in your store is ready for employees as soon as your company offers it. A partner benefit has an extra step: the external provider and your company need an agreement first. Until that agreement is in place and the listing goes live, employees see nothing. The Partner benefits area is the workspace for getting from "interested" to "live".
The Partner benefits area is part of the HR experience only. Regular employees never see it, and they only ever see a partner benefit once it is live in the store, the same as any other benefit.
Find Partner benefits in the HR menu
Partner benefits is part of the HR area, not the personal Me view. To get there:
In the HR navigation, look under the General group. Partner benefits sits there alongside Dashboard, Expenses, Reports, and Internal Files. Selecting it opens the partner benefits page at /hr/partner-benefits, with the header Partner benefits and the subtitle "Browse partners that need a company agreement before they appear in your benefit store."
When the menu item is visible
The Partner benefits item is not shown to everyone. Two conditions both have to be met:
- Partner benefits is enabled for your company. It is an optional feature your CLVR contact switches on. While it is off, the menu item is hidden, opening
/hr/partner-benefitsdirectly sends you back to your HR Dashboard, and following a link to a specific partner's detail page does the same. - You are an HR user. Employees without HR access never see the HR area, so they never see this item. Opening the page directly also redirects them to their dashboard.
Once CLVR turns the feature on, refresh the webapp and the Partner benefits link appears in the HR menu and the pages open normally. If you think your company should have Partner benefits, contact CLVR support and ask for the feature to be enabled. Employees see partner benefits in the benefit store once your HR team has activated a partner there, not in an HR menu.
Browse the partner benefits grid
The Partner benefits page shows every partner available to your company as a grid of cards, so you can see at a glance who is on offer and where each one stands. The cards are sorted alphabetically by partner name. Each card shows:
- The partner logo or cover image. If neither is set, the card shows the partner's category icon instead.
- The partner name.
- A short description (trimmed to about three lines).
- A status badge in the bottom corner that tells you where your company is with that partner.
Select any card to open that partner's detail page, where you can read its full content and take the next action.
Which partners appear
The grid only lists partners that are ready for companies to see. A partner shows up when:
- It is published and its category is published, and
- It is either offered to all companies or specifically assigned to your company.
Partners that do not meet both conditions are simply not shown, so the grid is always the set you can actually act on.
Reading the status badge
The badge on each card reflects your company's place in the partner's activation journey, not a fixed property of the partner. Every partner card and detail page shows a status badge so your HR team can see where things stand:
- Available: nothing started yet. You can express interest or, if you already have a contract, go straight to activation.
- Interest sent: you have told CLVR you are interested and the provider has been notified.
- Ready for agreement details: it is your turn to upload the agreement and the details employees will see.
- PENDING CLVR APPROVAL: you have submitted, and CLVR is reviewing the agreement and store copy before it goes live.
- Live in store: the benefit is visible to employees in the benefit store.
- NEEDS ATTENTION: the partner is live, but your own benefit or category settings are currently hiding the listing from the store.
- Suspended by CLVR: CLVR has paused the benefit. The detail page shows the reason.
- Cancelled: an earlier interest request was cancelled. You can start again from here.
The same set of cards can show different badges from one company to the next, because each badge tracks your company's own progress with that partner. For the full meaning of every status, see the related article on partner benefit statuses.
Read a partner's detail page
Selecting a partner from the grid opens its detail page, where you read the partner's full marketing content and take the next step toward making the benefit available to your employees. What you see below that content changes with where your company is in the process, so the page doubles as a status board.
The page header carries the partner name as the heading and, when the partner has one, its short description as the subheading. Below that you may see a wide cover image, when the partner has supplied one. If there is no cover image, the page starts straight at the content.
Below the header sits the partner's marketing content, written by the partner:
- If the partner has a single block of content, it shows as one continuous section.
- If the partner has split its content into several sections, those appear as tabs you can switch between. Select a tab title to read that section.
This is the same content employees will eventually read on the benefit store page, so it is worth reading in full before you decide how to proceed.
Status notices and actions on the detail page
A notice box near the top tells you the current state. You will see one of these, depending on your company's progress:
- Interest sent. You have expressed interest and the partner has been notified. They will contact you directly.
- An agreement step is ready: You can now upload your agreement and the details employees will see.
- Pending approval from CLVR Benefits. You have submitted a signed agreement and store copy, and CLVR is reviewing it before the benefit goes live.
- This benefit is visible to employees in the benefit store. The benefit is live. If your own settings are hiding it, you instead see Your settings hide this benefit from the store, with a link to Go to Benefit Settings.
- Suspended by CLVR. The partner benefit has been suspended, with a reason and a prompt to contact support.
You do not switch these states yourself by choosing them. They follow what you have already done (expressed interest, submitted an agreement) and any review by CLVR. The notice simply reflects where things stand.
The buttons below the content also follow the current status. Depending on where you are, you may see Send interest, We already have an agreement, Cancel request, Activate for employees, Update display details, or Remove from store. A Browse all partner benefits link returns you to the full grid.
Troubleshooting
I am an HR user but I do not see Partner benefits, or the link sends me to my dashboard. Your company most likely does not have the feature enabled yet. That redirect happens when the feature is off for your company, or when your account does not have HR access. Confirm both with your HR contact, or ask CLVR to turn the feature on.
I am an employee and cannot find it. Partner benefits is an HR-only area. The partner offers you can use appear in the benefit store, not in an HR menu.
The page is empty and shows a notice instead of a grid. When no partners are available to your company yet, the page shows an information box: "No partner benefits are available for your company yet. When partners are available for your company, they will show up here." Nothing is wrong; there is just nothing to act on right now. A partner appears once CLVR has published it, its category is also published, and it is offered to all companies or assigned to yours. There is nothing to configure on your side, so check back later, or contact CLVR if a specific partner you expected is not showing.
A partner I expected is missing. It may not be published yet, or it may be offered only to other companies. The grid shows only partners that are available to your company.
A card has no logo or image. That partner has not set a logo or cover image, so the card falls back to its category icon. This does not affect anything you can do with the partner.
There is no cover image or description on the detail page. Both are optional and supplied by the partner, so some detail pages start straight at the content.
I expected action buttons but only see a notice. That partner does not have an activation flow set up yet. Read the content, then contact CLVR if you need the actions enabled.
The benefit says it is live but employees cannot find it. Your company's benefit or category settings may be hiding it. Use Go to Benefit Settings from the notice to turn its visibility on.
A partner I activated has disappeared from the list. If CLVR unpublishes a partner or its category after you started, it can drop out of the list. Contact CLVR if a partner you were using is gone.
