Activate a partner and set up the store page
Upload your signed contract, edit the store page tabs employees will see, optionally ask CLVR to review the copy, and submit to go live, whether you skip the interest step or finish after it.
To bring a partner benefit live, you upload your signed contract and set up the store page employees will see, then submit it for a one-time CLVR review. You can do this whether your company already has a signed agreement (skipping the interest step) or you have reached the Ready for agreement details state after CLVR coordinated an introduction. This article walks through that path under Partner benefits.
Open the partner and start the agreement path
Open Partner benefits in the HR area and select the partner. On the partner's detail page:
- If the partner shows the Available badge, the interest form is open. Below the form, select We already have an agreement to switch to the activation form.
- If you previously sent interest and the partner shows Interest sent, you can still select We already have an agreement to move to activation.
- If CLVR has coordinated an introduction and both sides have agreed, the partner shows a Ready for agreement details badge, and opening it shows the notice You can now upload your agreement and the details employees will see. That is your cue to finish activation.
Either way you land on the Agreement and display details form, which is where you upload the contract and set up the store page.
Choose the agreement path only when the contract is signed and you are ready for the benefit to appear for employees. If you only want CLVR to help arrange an introduction, use Send interest instead. If the partner is still showing Available or Interest sent, it has not yet been coordinated by CLVR, but you can still go straight to activation if you already hold a signed contract.
Upload your signed agreement
On the Agreement and display details form, the first field is Signed agreement, described as "Upload the agreement between your company and the partner." This is the contract between your company and the partner. Drag your file onto the upload area or browse for it on your device.
- Upload a single PDF, up to 20 MB.
- Only one file is expected, so combine multiple pages or scans into one PDF before uploading.
If your contract is several separate scans, merge them into a single PDF first. The upload accepts one file, so a stack of images or a multi-part document will not all attach.
Your agreement is handled privately. The file uploads to secure, private storage as soon as you add it, before you submit the form, and only a reference to the stored file travels with your activation, not the file contents in the form itself. The agreement is not visible to employees: it never appears on the employee-facing store page; only your HR team and CLVR Benefits can see it as part of the review. If you submit the activation again, the new upload replaces the file from your previous submission, so there is no need to remove the old one first.
Edit the store page tabs employees will see
Below the upload, you edit the content that becomes the benefit's store page. The What employees will see notice explains this area: the rich text starts from the partner's standard text, and you can edit it lightly or replace it to match your company's agreement. Whatever you write here becomes the benefit's store page once it goes live.
Directly under the notice is the Store page tabs editor. Each tab is one section of the store page. Select a tab to open it, then:
- Set the Tab title in the text field at the top. A tab with no title shows as Untitled.
- Write the body in the rich text editor below the title.
Use tabs when the partner's information is easier to read in separate sections (for example an overview, terms, and how to claim):
- Select Add tab (top right of the editor) to create a new, empty section. Give it a Tab title and write its content.
- To delete a tab, select the trash icon next to it. At least one tab always remains, so you cannot remove the last one.
There is no separate save button for the tabs. Your tab content is saved together with the rest of the activation when you submit the form, so finish editing here before you continue. Updating the employee-facing text later does not require a new approval, so you do not have to get every word perfect now.
Optionally ask CLVR to review your agreement and copy
Above the submit button there is an optional checkbox:
I confirm CLVR may review our agreement and marketing copy before this goes live for employees.
Tick it if you would like CLVR Benefits to check your agreement and store copy as part of the go-live. When the box is ticked, CLVR receives an additional notice asking it to review the signed agreement and the employee-facing copy, on top of the standard approval step. When it is left unticked, only the standard approval notice is sent.
Every activation goes through CLVR review before it goes live, whether or not you tick the box. The checkbox does not add or skip approval; it only flags that you would like a closer look at the wording. So if you are unsure, ticking it costs you nothing. Leaving it unticked does not skip the standard review.
Submit for activation
Confirm the Signed agreement is attached and the store page content reads the way you want.
Select Activate for employees.
A Submission received confirmation appears, with the message that CLVR Benefits is reviewing your agreement and will notify you when it is live.
After you submit, the partner's status changes to PENDING CLVR APPROVAL, the detail page shows a Pending approval from CLVR Benefits notice, and your HR team and CLVR are both notified that the benefit is awaiting review. This review is a one-time step for the initial go-live: CLVR checks the signed agreement and the store copy you submitted, then makes the benefit visible in your store. Updating the employee-facing description later does not require a new approval.
When CLVR approves it, the status changes to Live in store and the benefit becomes visible to employees. You get a notification at that point, so there is nothing to keep checking. After CLVR Benefits reviews and the benefit shows Live in store, employees see exactly the tabs and text you set here, and you can reopen the benefit and change the store text or tabs at any time without a new review.
Troubleshooting
I do not see "We already have an agreement". Make sure you have opened the partner's detail page. The button appears on the interest form for an Available partner and on a partner where you have already sent interest.
The Activate for employees button will not submit, or the agreement keeps flagging as required. A required field is missing. Make sure the Signed agreement file is attached. If it keeps flagging as missing, the attached file may be empty; remove it and upload the signed PDF again.
The agreement will not upload. Use a single PDF up to 20 MB. Other file types and oversized files are not accepted. If your contract is several scans, merge them into one PDF first.
I cannot remove a tab. At least one tab must remain, so the trash icon is hidden when only one tab is left. Edit that tab instead, or add a new one first and then remove the old one.
My tab shows as Untitled. Give the tab a Tab title. An empty title falls back to Untitled on the store page.
I do not see the Store page tabs editor. Make sure you are on the Agreement and display details activation form. If the partner only shows marketing content with no activation form, the partner's HR workflow may not be set up yet; contact CLVR Benefits.
I want to preview what employees see. Submit the activation and go live first, then use Open employee benefit page on the partner to view the store page exactly as employees see it.
I want to change the agreement or copy after submitting. Once you submit, the form is replaced by the Pending approval from CLVR Benefits notice. Reach out to CLVR through your usual support channel before the benefit goes live. Once the benefit is live, you can update the employee-facing description with Update display details without going through approval again.
Nothing happened after I submitted. Look for the Submission received confirmation and the PENDING CLVR APPROVAL status on the partner. If the status did not change, check that the Signed agreement was attached and submit again.
