Report a poor or incorrect translation
How to flag wording that reads wrong in Swedish or English so the CLVR team can find and fix the copy.
If a label, button, or sentence in CLVR Benefits reads wrong in Swedish or English, you can flag it from the Report an issue form and the CLVR team will fix the copy. A translation report is the right choice when the wording is awkward, mistranslated, or simply unclear, rather than something being broken. This article shows how to send one and what to include so we can find the exact text fast.
Open the form and pick the issue type
In CLVR Benefits, open Report an issue, then set Issue type to Poor translation.
Choosing Poor translation keeps the form short. You will not see the Affected module picker or any expense linking, since those only apply to a technical issue. All you need to fill in is the Description and, if it helps, an attachment.
Describe the wording
In the Description field, the helper text asks you to mention the translation or text that you think was translated poorly. Use at least 10 characters so we have enough to work with.
To help us locate the exact string, include:
- The wording itself, quoted as you see it on screen.
- The page or screen where it appears (for example the dashboard, the expense upload flow, or a settings page).
- Which language is wrong, and what it should say instead if you know.
Quote the text exactly as it shows in the app. The same word can appear in several places, so the exact phrase plus the screen name is what lets us find and fix the right one quickly.
Add a screenshot (optional)
A screenshot is the fastest way to show wording in context. Under Attachments, select Add files and choose a PNG, JPG, or PDF (max 10 MB each). Attachments are optional, so skip this if the quote and page name are enough.
Send it
Select Submit. You will see a Report sent confirmation, and the CLVR team will review the wording and correct it in a future update. Translation reports are filed for review alongside the other reports you send, so there is nothing more you need to do.
As an HR user, the Report an issue panel also offers a direct email to the CLVR team if you would rather reach out that way. The form is usually quicker for a wording fix, since it captures your company and account context automatically.
Troubleshooting
- The form will not submit. The Description needs at least 10 characters. Add a bit more detail, such as the page name, and try again.
- The Affected module field is missing. That is expected for a translation report. It only appears for a technical issue.
- A file will not attach. Use a PNG, JPG, or PDF up to 10 MB. For larger images, crop or compress before uploading.
