Let AI learn how you approve receipts
Our AI now decides receipts in every category, by your own benefit policy, and it learns from your corrections. The routine receipts are handled for you. Only the ones that really need a person reach you, and fewer of them over time.

Nobody goes into HR to read gym receipts. Yet that is where the hours go in most companies: a gym card here, a massage there, one receipt at a time, each one checked against a policy somebody wrote years ago.
In July we showed how our AI approves wellness receipts. Today it does a lot more. It works in every receipt category. It follows your own benefit policy. It sits wherever you want it in your approval flow. And it learns how you decide.
This is the biggest step our AI has taken, and we are really proud of it.
Every receipt category
Wellness was only the start. You can now switch the AI on for any category your company takes receipts in, one category at a time. The ones you leave off go to your approvers, just like today.
Your policy, read for you
Your benefit policy already says which receipts are fine. The trouble is that a person has to apply it, one receipt at a time.
Now CLVR reads it for you. Upload the policy, and in a minute or two it has become clear rules for each category: what is approved, what is declined, what you always want to see yourself, and the limits that apply. You check the rules before anything is used. When the policy changes, upload the new version and you see only what changed.
Your policy says yes, so the AI approves it, with the reason written down.
Your policy says no. The employee gets the reason and can send in the right receipt.
Your policy says HR decides these, so they always come to you.
It comes to you, and your answer can become a rule the AI follows next time.
On top of your rules, CLVR always applies its own base rules, the same for every company: what makes a valid receipt, what is never approved, and Skatteverket's rules for wellness.
It learns from how you decide
This is the part we are proudest of.
When you correct the AI, or decide a receipt your rules didn't cover yet, CLVR offers to remember your answer. Say yes, and the AI handles the next receipt of that kind on its own. Your way of deciding becomes its way of deciding.
So the AI gets better the more you use it. Week by week, more of your routine receipts are decided for you and fewer reach you, and each category has a chart where you can watch it happen.
Nothing changes behind your back. Every suggestion waits for your yes, every rule is there for you to read, and the change log shows who changed what and when.
A step in your approval flow
You decide where the AI sits. Put AI auto-approve first, and it reads a receipt the moment it is sent in. Or put it after a person: the employee's manager first, for example, and then the AI.
Every AI step has a Fallback: the people who decide what the AI isn't sure about. When the AI approves or declines, that decision is final. When it isn't sure, it doesn't guess. It passes the receipt on to the fallback, with the reason.
Every decision explained, and yours to undo
- Every decision comes with its reason in plain words. On a decline the employee sees it too, and can fix the report and send it in again.
- A receipt the same employee sends in twice is caught, and the copy is declined.
- You see everything the AI decided in the last 30 days, and you can undo any decision that hasn't been paid out yet.
- The AI is never given the employee's name or email, and your data is never used to train AI models.
Get started
- Let CLVR read your benefit policy. Upload it and check the rules it found, or write the rules yourself.
- Switch on the categories you want. One at a time, as many as you like.
- Add the AI to your approval flow. Put AI auto-approve where you want it, and choose who decides what it isn't sure about.
The AI decides nothing until the category is switched on and the step is in its flow, so you choose when it starts. The help articles Choose what the AI approves, Create and edit approval flows and Undo an AI decision walk you through it.
Wellness stays switched on. Add AI auto-approve to the approval flow your wellness receipts go through, and the AI starts deciding them.
What it means for HR
Write your rules once, or let CLVR read them from your policy. Correct the AI when it's wrong, and it remembers. The routine receipts are decided the way you would have decided them, employees get their answer sooner, and your time goes to the receipts, and the people, that really need you.

How automatic approvals reduce benefits administration
Wellness receipts are the paper cuts of benefits administration: small, numerous, and almost always routine. Here is how our AI approves the clear-cut ones in seconds, why friskvĂĄrd came first, and how it applies your company's own policy.

Wellness allowance 2026: what counts and the December rule
The wellness allowance (friskvardsbidrag) is Sweden's most used employee benefit, and one of the most misunderstood. Here are the 2026 rules: what actually qualifies, where the limits sit, and why December receipts cannot be registered in the same tax year.

Choosing a benefits platform: a checklist
Every benefits platform looks the same in the sales demo. The differences show up in November, when the payroll files have to balance and the wellness ceilings have to hold. Here is the checklist with the questions that actually separate platforms.
