Report a poor translation

Flag any wording in CLVR that reads wrong or is translated badly, using the Poor translation issue type.

CLVR Benefits runs in Swedish (the default) and English, and now and then a word or sentence may read awkwardly in one of them. If you spot wording that looks wrong, mistranslated, or just unclear, you can flag it from inside the app with the Poor translation issue type, and we will fix the text. This article walks through how.

Open the report form

The Report an issue button sits in your account area, under Me. Select it to open the Report an issue form, then set Issue type to Poor translation.

When you choose Poor translation, the form stays short: the Affected module and Linked expenses fields only appear for a technical issue, so you will not see them here. You just describe the wording and, if you like, attach a screenshot.

Describe the wording

In the Description box, the help text asks you to mention the translation or text that you think was translated poorly, using at least 10 characters. To make the fix quick and accurate:

  • Quote the exact words you saw, as closely as you can.
  • Say where it appeared in the app (the page, button, or screen), if it helps us find it.
  • Note which language you were viewing, Swedish or English, so we look at the right text.
Tip.

You can switch language any time from the profile menu under Language. If a word only looks wrong in one language, telling us which one saves a lot of guesswork.

Attach a screenshot (optional)

A picture of the wording often explains it faster than words. Under Attachments, select Add files to attach a screenshot or PDF (PNG, JPG, or PDF, up to 10 MB each). This is optional, so skip it if the text quote is already clear.

Send it

When you are happy with the description, select Submit. You will see a Report sent confirmation, and the text goes to our team to review and correct.

Troubleshooting

  • I cannot find the button. Look in the Me area of the app; the Report an issue button is there.
  • The form will not submit. The Description needs at least 10 characters. Add a little more detail about the wording and try again.
  • It is not really a translation, just confusing wording. That is still worth reporting here. Use Poor translation for anything that reads wrong, and describe what tripped you up.
